HOTEL RESIDENCE, Wurzburg – A Smart Stay in the City

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were modern, very clean, and comfortable, equipped with AC and good wifi, but noise from the bar below was bothersome. The service was friendly and helpful overall, but there were some communication issues. The location was ideal for exploring the city center, though noisy at night. The dining options were decent but limited in selection. The facilities were satisfactory for my stay.

The hotel is situated above Gerberstrasse, a bustling main road with lots of traffic and a popular loud bar below, offering spacious rooms for three people with 2 bathrooms but lacking air conditioning. The service is attentive and knowledgeable about cocktails, with friendly and helpful staff who made me feel at home. The location is central in Wuerzburg, Germany, close to the river and train station, but plagued by noise from nearby loud pubs. Dining at Joe's Mexican Cantina is a great addition though with early closing time at 10:00h. Overall, the hotel provides a vibrant experience with some challenges due to noise and lack of air conditioning.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms were modern, very clean, and comfortable, although the only negative point was that they were a bit spacious with two large opening windows and a separate toilet, and a great bathroom. The service was top-notch, as they brought hot lemon tea and extra duvets to our room and were super-helpful with advising on restaurants and planning our public transport journeys. The location was very central, right across from several beer gardens on the Main river and close to the city center. The dining experience was not included in the tariff but was great with Joe's Mexican Cantina nearby. Overall, a great value for money.
